I’m having one of those days where I need to remember that writing is the ultimate goal.  Here’s my to-do list for the weekend (thank heavens for rainy weekends):

1.  Create writing resume.

2.  Update writing samples page.

3.  Do SEO articles currently scheduled.

4.  Review freelance jobs sites and apply for at least 4 jobs, if not more.

5.  Work a bit on the novel.

6.  Put together a daily writing schedule.

Tropical storms make for great writing weather.  Should be a good weekend.

Today was a very light day, because today was a very heavy day.  My day job seemed more like a nightmare than a way to make a living.  It’s gotten to be mid-evening now, and I’m just not willing to write anything tonight.

Here’s what I got done today:

1.  Personal blog post.

After work I ran by the library and picked up a copy of The Well-Fed Writer.  I’m on page 13 (Chapter Two) and I can already tell that I am going to have to buy the book.  I really like what he has to say.  He thinks the way I think, and after the day I had today, I could definitely seeing living the life he talks about.

Tomorrow I will be doing lots of writing.
